Emotions Posting Game

Support emotional development and meaningful discussion with this engaging emotions posting game. Designed to help children recognise, name and talk about a range of feelings, this hands-on resource makes learning about emotions clear, visual and interactive.

The set includes 60 posting cards showing real-life photos on one side and blank backs on the reverse, giving children plenty of opportunities to look closely at expressions and talk about the emotions they might represent. Children then post each card into the correct emotion post box, choosing from Happy, Sad, Surprised, Worried, Angry and Upset.

This simple activity encourages children to reflect on both positive and negative emotions, build emotional vocabulary and develop confidence in discussing feelings. Once all the cards have been posted, children can also compare the results and see which post box has the most cards, adding an extra layer of counting and discussion to the activity.
