Pentagon Play Drum Seat Package

Our natural-looking Drum Seat Package, includes 5 freestanding drum seats and is set to spark children's creativity and imagination in your school playground. As they are fascinated with sound, the seats are perfect for inquisitive young minds as they can hit the top, both sides and the plywood panels to create different tunes.

Based on ‘Cajon Drums’, a boxed shaped instrument that originated from Peru, our Drum Seats include a built-in snare, which creates the sounds you hear as children bang on the panels.

Children can explore drum beats and rhythm as they create a little tune, learning about the importance of teamwork and turn-taking when forming their own playground band and performing to others stood around listening – improving their cooperation, communication and language skills.

Built out of play-grade timber, the drums are ideal and sturdy enough to be used as extra seating and are an exciting resource for mathematics and literacy as they count the beats or write on the chalkboard side.
