The freestanding Musical Triad combines three popular instruments to create a communal space for children to collaborate on their musical skills.
Compromised of a xylophone constructed from recycled plastic planks, a set of smaller, higher-pitched C Major chimes and a set of Sapele wooden dowels, plenty of children can gather round and explore musical rhythms and patterns together!
As children work with one another to use the instruments, they will develop critical teamwork and social skills as well as the fine motor skills needed to strike each of the sides.
While children explore each of the three sides, they will begin to understand how the different shapes, sizes and materials of the instruments can create different musical sounds.
The frame has been built from 'play grade' timber and is freestanding, so can be moved around the playground to enable children to form their own orchestras with any other instruments you have. An ideal addition to any playground! You'll have an orchestra in no time!
